Russian War Cemeteries in Poland. There are many, many cemeteries all over Poland for the Russian soldiers killed during the second world war. This photograph shows part of the cemetery in Gorzow Wielkopolskie on the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the former German city of Landsberg Warthe (30th January 1945). Towns and cities all over the west of Poland commemorate the same event on different days during January and February.
