Glebokie, one of many lakes in the province of Lubuskie, in west of Poland, c.1975.
Głębokie is a small resort beside one of the most picturesque lakes in the west of Poland. The lake itself contains crystal clear water and is perfect for boating, swimming, diving, fishing or birdwatching. There are many traditional Polish-style wooden summer houses, and during the summer season visitors can make use of several small shops, cafes and bars. Other facilities available during the summer months include: tennis courts, boat and canoe hire, archery and airgun shooting. From October through to the end of May, Glebokie becomes a more peaceful, tranquil place - an escape from the hussle and bussle of the modern world. More about lakes in Poland.
